How to Edit a Character in FE7

"FE7" or "Fire Emblem 7" is a game that was released for the Gameboy Advance. It features the character Eliwood searching for his father, the Marquess of Pherae. He must defeat a conspiracy designed to overthrow the government. Players playing this game can edit their characters by using the free "Nightmare Editor" that has been designed specifically for editing this game. Players can only edit the emulated ROM version of the game. Make sure you own a physical copy of "Fire Emblem 7" before you play the ROM as it is illegal to play a ROM without the physical copy.

Instructions

  Download the "Nightmare Program V.2" and the "Nightmare Modules Game Boy Advance" installation programs from the FE Shrine link. Save these to your Desktop and run the programs to install these to your computer.

  Open the "Nightmare Program V.2" from your Start menu. Click on "Editors" from the top menu and scroll down to find the "Character Editor" option. Select this option by left-clicking on it.

  Select the character you want to edit from the "Characters" drop-down menu at the top of the screen. Wait a moment for the editing information to appear on the screen.

  Read through the list of editing information to find what you want to edit about your character. Information you can edit includes character name, description, class, portrait, base stats, level, affinity, mini-portrait and weapon levels.

  Click on the text window of the specific attribute you want to edit. Alter it by typing with the keyboard. Change all the attributes you want to change and select "Save" to save the information. Alter as many characters as you want using this method.
