How Do You Fix the Power Plant in Pokemon: Gold Version

When you first come across the power plant in "Pokemon: Gold Version" for the Game Boy Color, you will discover that it has been sabotaged by Team Rocket and that a vital part has been stolen and hidden somewhere in the world. You will have to track down and return the part to the power plant before you can continue forward with the main plot line.

Instructions

- 1
  Speak to everyone in the power plant when you first enter. You will be unable to find the stolen part until you've spoken to all the NPCs (nonplaying characters) in the area.

  Travel back to Cerulean City and go to the bridge in the northern part of town. A Team Rocket goon you've run into before is waiting for you.

  Speak to and defeat the goon. He will tell you the location of the stolen part.
- 4
  Go to the Cerulean City Gym and hop into the swimming pool in the center of the gym. Go to the upper-left corner and search the area to locate the part.
- 5
  Take the part back to the manager of the power plant. He will install the part and repair the plant.
