How to Get an Alakazam on Moemon

"Moemon" is a hack players can use on the Game Boy Advance "Pokemon" games "Fire Red" and "Leaf Green," which transforms all Pokemon into little girl characters. The "Moemon" hack allows players to catch all starter Pokemon in either game and features a blend of Pokemon from both "Fire Red" and "Leaf Green," regardless of the game version played. Most changes are cosmetic, and players still acquire Alakazam through the same methods in "Moemon" as in hack-free versions of "Leaf Green" and "Fire Red."

Instructions

  Travel to Kanto region's Routes 24 and 25 in the "Moemon" version of either "Fire Red" or "Leaf Green." Route 24 lies north of Cerulean City and west of Route 25. Explore this region, moving through the terrain until you face Abra in a random encounter. Use a Pokemon that knows an immobilizing ability such as "Sleep" or "Confusion" to immediately immobilize Abra.

  Throw a Pokeball to capture Abra. Alternatively, weaken Abra first and throw a Pokeball to capture it. Abra will teleport away from battle as soon as it gets the opportunity. Use Abra in battle until it evolves at Level 16 into Kadabra. Players can also enter the Cerulean Cave and roam around the second floor until Kadabra appears in a random encounter. Use an immobilizing move to prevent Kadabra from teleporting. Throw a Pokeball to capture it.

  Save your game and turn off the system. Enlist the assistance of a friend who has "Fire Red" or "Leaf Green." Connect the two systems using a Game Boy Advance link cable. Speak to the Cable Club representative at any Pokemon Center to initiate trade with your friend. Trade Kadabra to the friend and it will evolve into Alakazam. Alternatively, a friend can trade a Kadabra to you to cause it to evolve into Alakazam.

  Trade again to receive Alakazam from the friend. Save your game. Turn off the system and disconnect the Game Boy Advance link cable. All Pokemon in "Moemon" will appear as little girl characters, regardless of whether or not that Pokemon was traded from another game.
