How to Get Regice in Sapphire

Regice is one of three non-exclusive legendary Pokemon in "Pokemon Ruby Version" and "Pokemon Sapphire Version." Regice is a pure Ice-type Pokemon with the rare Clear Body trait, which means Regice's stats can't be lowered by an enemy's attacks. The process of getting Regice, along with Regirock and Registeel, begins in the Sealed Cave, in which ancient people carved secret messages in Braille. You can follow a very specific path to reach Regice.

Relicanth
Pokemon with Dig, Surf and Dive

Instructions

- 1
  Fly to Pacifidlog Town and Surf west to Route 132. Travel south to the bottom of the route and ride the currents west, staying near the south border where possible. You'll reach an island and a shoal area; keep going west past them, surfing further to reach Route 133. Keep following the south wall until you hit a shoal region at the start of Route 134. From the middle of those shoals, surf west to a hole in the currents.

  Dive and Surf south until you reach a rock with Braille on it. Stand in front of the Braille and use Dive again to enter the Sealed Cave. Go north until you reach the north wall of the cave, which has a Braille inscription on it. Stand in the middle of the inscription and use Dig to open the path forward.

  Walk north to the next inscription. Rearrange your party so that Relicanth is the first member of your party and Wailord is in the last slot. Check the inscription; you should hear a rumbling and get a message about a "door far away" opening. Exit the cave.

  Fly to Petalburg City and walk west to Route 104. Go down to the shore and Surf south. Follow the western wall until you surface on an island, then walk left and Surf north to enter the Island Cave.

  Go to the Braille inscription and check it, then sit for two minutes until the path opens. Walk into the next room and talk to Regice to begin the battle. Weaken Regice with your Pokemon and capture Regice in an Ultra Ball or Timer Ball.
