How to Launch Rockets to Get Deoxy

The Space Center of Mossdeep City in "Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire" launches rockets at timed intervals, helping players track the amount of time they have spent playing their game file. Rockets also take travelers to the moon after the game has been completed, where rare Pokémon like Deoxy are exclusively available. Deoxys is thought to be the originator of all Pokémon and is said to encompass the full Pokémon genome.

  Fly to Mossdeep City and enter the Space Center.

  Speak with the man near the launch pad who gives a Sun Stone earlier in the game and accept his offer to take a rocket to the moon. Wait until the next scheduled launch (which occurs every five hours) to go to the moon. The scientist will not offer to send you to the moon if you have not completed the game and received the Elite Four badge.

  Walk on the surface of the moon until you encounter a Deoxys in battle, then throw a Pokéball at it to capture it. If it resists the Pokéball, use a more powerful one or put it to sleep before trying again.
