How to Get Past Vicrory Road in Emerald for GBA

In "Pokemon Emerald," Victory Road is the last challenge that stands between you and the Elite Four. Victory Road leads you through maze-like caverns filled with trainers eager to test their skills in battle. Take the most direct path through Victory Road to keep your Pokemon healthy and avoid unnecessary battles. At the end of Victory Road, you reach the Pokemon League, where the Elite Four waits to battle you and your team.

Instructions

- 1
  Go to Ever Grande City and walk north to enter Victory Road. Once inside Victory Road, head north. Go upstairs. Walk across the wooden bridge.

  Walk north and a trainer challenges you. Defeat the trainer and walk to the ladder to climb to the next level.

  Use the Flash move to light up the dark cave. Walk east, south then west. Face the boulder and press "A" to push it around using Strength. Push the boulder out of the way and keep walking.

  Face the small rock at the end of the path. Press "A" to break it with Rock Smash. Walk upstairs and go over the bridge.

  Go downstairs to face another trainer. Walk south at the junction and take the ladder to the lower level.

  Defeat the trainer and use Surf while facing the pond. If you want to pick up TM 29, Psychic, surf north and get out of the water. Go upstairs and use the ladder. Pick up Psychic and go back to the pond.

  Swim to the west. At the edge of the pond there is a waterfall. Face the waterfall and press "A" to ascend to the next floor.

  Leave the water and go west. Fight the trainer and get back into the water. Surf west to reach another waterfall. Press "A" to go down.

  Walk east to reach a ladder. Go up, walk across the ledge and climb down on the other side. Use Rock Smash to destroy the small rock and use Strength to shove the boulder away from the path.

  Break the rock behind the boulder. Walk north and use the ladder. Walk upstairs. Go across another bridge. Keep walking north and fight the trainer on the path.

  Go straight to reach the end of the path. Fight and defeat your rival, Wally, when he confronts you near the cave exit. When you win the fight, leave Victory Road through the exit door.
