How to Use the Acro Bike in Pokemon Ruby

In "Pokemon Ruby," a man in Mauville City owns a bike shop, and he offers you one of his high-performance bikes for free. The Acro Bike handles tricks, jumps and wheelies very well, but it is not as fast as the Mach Bike. The Acro Bike lets you take shortcuts across mountains and other rocky terrain, and it balances well on beams that carry you to places with new Pokemon and rare items.

Instructions

  Walk northeast from Littleroot Town to get to Mauville City. Enter Rydel's Bicycle Shop. Talk to Rydel and select the Acro Bike when he offers you a free bicycle.

  Open the inventory. Scroll to the Key Items tab. Select the Acro Bike to ride it.

  Tap "B" while sitting still on the Acro Bike to do a bunny hop. Hold down "B" while moving on the Acro Bike to do a wheelie.

  Face a gap that you want to jump across. Press the D-Pad in the direction you want to jump and then tap "B" to cross the gap on the Acro Bike. You can also use this move to jump over rocks and ledges.
