How to Get to Lavender Town in Pokemon: Yellow

In "Pokemon: Yellow Version," the citizens of the Kanto region regard Lavender Town as the primary gravesite for departed Pokemon. Lavender Town is home to Pokemon Tower, a seven-story tower filled with the graves of hundreds of deceased Pokemon. You can enter the tower to fight and capture Ghost-type Pokemon such as Gastly and Haunter. Reaching Lavender Town isn't too difficult from the starting location of Pallet Town, but it requires you to travel through numerous other Kanto region locations first.

     Travel north through Route 1 to Viridian City. Continue north through Route 2 and the Viridian Forest until you reach Pewter City.

     Head east through Route 3 and cross Mt. Moon. Travel through Route 4 until you reach Cerulean City.

     Travel south through Route 6 to Saffron City. Head east through Route 8 until you arrive at Lavender Town.
