What Is the Fastest Way to Win a Lotto Ticket in Emerald?

"Pokemon: Emerald" features hundreds of Pokemon for the player to capture. In order to get one, the player typically engages it in a random battle, lowers its health and then throws a pokeball at it. Pokeballs often miss, however. Only the Masterball has a 100 percent success rate, and the player typically gets only one over the course of the game. To get more, you have to win the lottery. You can participate in the lotto every day, and if you have a Pokemon whose ID matches the number drawn, you get a prize. Match all five numbers to get a Masterball.

  Capture as many Pokemon as you can. The more you have, the better your odds of winning the lottery.

  Travel to Lilycove City. It's located west on Route 124 and east on Route 121.

  Enter the Lilycove City Department Store. On the bottom floor, you'll see a woman behind a reception desk. She handles the lottery.

  Speak with the receptionist. She'll give you a lotto ticket with five numbers. If you have Pokemon with matching ID numbers, then she'll give you a Masterball. You can do this as many times as you like, though she'll only give you a lotto ticket once per day.
