What is the Quickest Way to Get Seedot in Sapphire?

The Pokemon Seedot resembles an acorn and uses grass-type attacks in battle against its opponents. According to its Pokedex entries, it enjoys frightening other Pokemon. While players cannot find Seedot in "Pokemon: Sapphire," they can capture it in "Emerald" or "Ruby" and trade it to "Sapphire." If desired, players can then transfer Seedot to other "Pokemon" games on the Nintendo DS. Players can expect to battle Seedot in "Ruby" in one out of approximately every 13 random encounters in areas where it dwells.

  Load your saved file on "Ruby." Travel to Eterna Forest -- located in the middle of Route 205 -- or travel to Routes 203 or 204. Players can also find Seedot in the southern section of Route 210, where it appears at Level 18. However, players will only encounter Seedot on Route 210 approximately once in every 25 encounters.

  Roam through Seedot's living areas in "Ruby" until it appears. Refrain from using a fire, ice, bug, flying or poison-type Pokemon against Seedot, as your Pokemon's attacks may cause it to faint. Weaken Seedot through attacks and throw a Pokeball to capture it.

  Insert "Emerald" into the Game Boy Advance or Nintendo DS and load a saved game. Go to Routes 102, 117 or 120. On Route 102, the Seedot appears at Level 3. Along Route 117, it appears at Level 13. Players can find it at its highest level along Route 120, where it appears at Level 25. However, players will only encounter Seedot in these areas in one to two percent of all random encounters. Weaken Seedot in battle and capture it using a Pokeball.

  Save your game after Seedot's capture. Turn off the system. Enlist the assistance of a friend who has another Game Boy Advance system. Insert your copy of "Sapphire" into the friend's system. Connect the two systems using a Game Boy Advance link cable. Travel to any Pokemon Center and speak to the cable club representative to initiate trade.

  Select Seedot to trade to "Sapphire." Save the game after completing the trade.
