How to Make Regis Appear in Emerald

In "Pokemon Emerald," ancient stone behemoths, called Regice, Regirock and Registeel, have slumbered for many years in the depths of the Hoenn region. To awaken the legendary trio, you need to solve a tricky puzzle in an underwater cavern on Route 134. To do that, you need to catch the uncommon Pokemon, Relicanth and Wailord. Once the Regis awaken, you must unlock the entrance to each of their lairs before you can enter to battle them.

Instructions

  Surf east from Slateport City until you reach Route 134. When you surf over a deep blue square, dive down. You enter a cavern.

  Walk straight, toward the back wall of the cavern. Read the inscription on the wall. Open the list of Pokemon in your party and use the Dig move. Proceed through the door that opens.

  Read the inscription in the next room. Open the Pokemon list and place Wailord in the first slot and Relicanth in the last slot. If you need to catch a Relicanth, dive underwater in Routes 124 and 126. To catch a Wailord, surf on the water on Route 129.

  Read the inscription in the room one more time. The cavern rumbles, and the Regis have awakened. Leave the cavern.

  Go to the desert in Route 111 to fight Regirock. Enter the cave and read the inscription. Walk two steps to the left and two steps down. Use the Rock Smash move to open the door to Regirock's room.

  Go to the cave on Route 120, located to the southeast of Fortree City, to challenge Registeel. Inside the cave, read the inscribed words. Stand in the room's center and use the Flash move to open the locked door.

  Surf to the cave on a small island on Route 105 to battle Regice. Head inside the cave and read the words on the wall. Walk in a clockwise circle around the interior of the cave and the door to Regice's room opens.
