How to Fix The Legacy of Goku 2 in VBA

Developed by Webfoot Technologies, "Dragon Ball Z: The Legacy Of Goku 2" is a 2003 Nintendo Game Boy Advance role-playing game. The game is based upon the events of the "Dragon Ball Z" animated series. Many players who attempt to play the game on the Visual Boy Advance (VBA) emulator encounter error messages stating that the game is not compatible with the hardware. This is a built-in security measure that is meant to stop piracy of the game and prevent players from using emulators. There are however several ways to fix this error.

Instructions

    • 1

Navigate to the Visual Boy Advance website, which is listed in the References section below, and download the latest version of the emulator. Older versions of the software encountered the error while trying to play "The Legacy Of Goku 2," but it works fine in newer versions.

    • 2

Place your "Legacy Of Goku 2" ROM file in the same folder as Visual Boy Advance and start the emulator. Click "File" and then "Open" to select the game and run it.

    • 3

Click "Options" and then "Emulator" if you still encounter the error. Click "Save Type" and "EEPROM" from the drop down menu. If the save type is set to something else it can also cause the game not to work. Restart the emulator after you have made the change.
