Instructions
Head to the Ruins of Alph and surf to the cave south of the main entrance.
Enter the cave and press "A" when in front of the aerodactyl puzzle to access it.
Arrange the 16 tiles so that you create a square portrait of an aerodactyl that faces left.
Place the four pieces that make up its head in the upper-left corner of the puzzle. Fit the nose into the top-left corner and place the eye in the space to the right of the nose. Move the chin piece below the nose and place the jaw in the remaining space.
Place the four pieces that make up the wings in the upper-right portion of the puzzle. The tips of the wings belong in the top-right corner, while the tops of them fit one space to the left of the tips and the wing bottoms fit below the tips. Place the parts of the wings that attach to the body in the last space in this area.
Put the four thickest pieces of the tail in the bottom-right section of the puzzle. The part that connects to the body goes in the top-left corner of this area, and the bulk of the tail curves one space to the right, then one space down and finally one space to the left. Each time you place a tile, the tail should be slightly thinner. It remains incomplete when you finish this area of the puzzle.
Continue to place the tail in remaining corner of the puzzle. Connect the next smallest section of the tail to the incomplete piece from the bottom of the previous area. Place the next piece of tail in the bottom-left corner. It curves upward, and you can then place the tip of the tail above this piece. Place the final piece of the puzzle in the open space.
