How to Get Salamence in Sapphire

"Pokemon Sapphire" is a Game Boy Advanced game that is part of the third generation of the Pokemon video game series. Often in Pokemon games, you must trade your Pokemon with friends in order to "catch 'em all." However, Salamence is available in the "Sapphire" game as well as in its counterpart, "Ruby," and the upgrade to both versions, "Emerald." Obtaining this Pokemon in one of these versions is the only way to get it in other versions, such as "FireRed" and "LeafGreen."

Instructions

  Go to Meteor Falls, which is located between Route 114 and Route 115 of the Hoenn Region. Enter the cave. Purchase your favorite types of Pokeballs from any of the various Pokemarts before traveling, if you have none with you.

  Travel deep into the Meteor Falls cave until you reach a rectangular-shaped room with a large pond in the middle.

  Walk around on dry land until a random encounter is initiated. You have a 25 percent chance of the wild Pokemon being a Bagon, who is needed to get Salamence.

  Battle the Bagon and capture it with one of your Pokeballs when its HP, or hit points, are low and in critical condition.

  Put the Bagon in your party and use it to fight other Pokemon until it gains enough experience points to reach level 30. It will evolve into Shelgon.
- 6
  Continue to raise the Shelgon by using it in battle until it reaches level 50. It will then evolve into the fierce Dragon-type Pokemon, Salamence.
