How to Get Celebi With E-Reader

The e-Reader is a Nintendo device that allows you to scan cards and upload games or items to your Game Boy Advance. One of the more popular cards is the Celebi card. Using the Celebi card, you can obtain Celebi, the legendary Psychic/Grass-type Pokemon, in the GameBoy Advance "Pokemon" games. To utilize the e-Reader, you will need two GameBoy Advance systems and a link cable. Please note that this only works with the Japanese version of the game.

Two GameBoy Advance systems
E-Reader
Celebi card
Link cable

Instructions

  Save your Pokemon game at a Pokemon Center and turn the game off.

  Connect the e-Reader to the second GameBoy Advance. Connect both GameBoy Advance systems with the link cable. The link cable slot is at the top of the system, next to the cartridge slot.

  Turn both GameBoy Advance systems on.

  Scan the Celebi card into the e-Reader. Select "Mystery Gift" from the Pokemon game's menu and select "Receive Gift." Celebi will then be transferred to your PC in your Pokemon game.
