How to Get Bagon in Meteor Falls

Bagon is one of the few Dragon-type Pokemon that Nintendo introduced in "Pokemon Sapphire" and "Pokemon Ruby." This small Pokemon is blue, yellow and gray. The evolution of Bagon is Shelgon, and Bagon's final evolution is Salamence. Since Salamence's base stat total is 600, many Pokemon Trainers catch Bagon for their Pokemon team. Meteor Falls, a large cave, is the only area in Hoenn where you can find Bagon in the wild. Only 10 squares in Meteor Falls will contain wild Bagon.

  Shop for Ultra balls at any PokeMart in Hoenn. Each Ultra ball will cost you 1,200 PokeDollars. If you dislike encountering wild Pokemon while travelling to your destination, purchase one dozen Max Repels.

  Teach a Water-type Pokemon like Wailmer the moves Surf and Waterfall. Since Surf and Waterfall are Hidden Machines, you will need to visit the Move Deleter if you want the Pokemon to forget these moves afterwards. Make it learn an Ice-type move like Ice Beam.

  Give the Water-type rare candies until it is Level 20 to Level 25. A Pokemon leveled between this range will be strong enough to weaken Bagon, but not strong enough to make it faint with one move.

  Go to Meteor Falls, which is near Fallabor Town. Head west once inside, and surf through the water. Ascend the waterfall with the Water-type Pokemon. Walk into the cave entrance to reach a different part of Meteor Falls.

  Descend the ladder and head north. Ascend the four small staircases. Leap down the ledges and descend the ladder. Surf in the water and go through the entrance. If you used a Max Repel, walk around the tiny room until it runs out.

  Look for a Bagon and weaken it with your Water-type Pokemon. Catch it with an Ultra ball. The Bagon will go to your party or your Pokemon Storage System. Leave the cave and sell any extra Ultra balls at a PokeMart.
