How to Get to Lavaridge City in Pokemon Emerald

In "Pokemon Emerald" for the Game Boy Advance, you must bring your Pokemon fighters into battle against your rivals, Team Magma and Team Aqua. World exploration and item collection is an important part of this 2005 title, as it is in earlier games in the series. You must pass through Lavaridge Town which contains a Pokemart, a gym and other useful facilities. Before you can reach this enclave, you will travel across the Jagged Pass.

Instructions

- 1
  Move south once you enter Jagged Pass. You will encounter the Hiker. Defeat the Hiker in battle.
- 2
  Jump off several ledges to reach a set of steps. Follow them down two more ledges to reach a member of Team Magma. Beat him in battle to continue.

  Go south off a ledge and then travel west. Encounter another trainer and fight him.
- 4
  Choose between two options after beating the trainer. Go left and battle (and possibly capture) a wild Pokemon or go right to battle several trainers.
- 5
  Leap off the next ledge onto a patch of grass after winning the battle. Encounter one more trainer before leaving Jagged Pass.
- 6
  Travel west along Route 122 after leaving Jagged Pass. This road will take you to Lavaridge Town.
