How to Install GameShark

GameShark is a video game cheating cartridge designed to be used with Nintendo systems, including the Nintendo 64, GameBoy and GameBoy Advance. Once installed into the system, it enables you to enter a variety of codes to unlock game features that would otherwise be unattainable, such as hidden characters or weapons. In extreme cases, you may be able to enter GameShark codes to unlock entirely new levels, such as the "Dam" level in "GoldenEye 007."

  Turn off your Nintendo system and remove any games that are inside.

  Push the GameShark into the game slot.

  Insert the GameBoy or Nintendo 64 game into the top of the GameShark. Turn on your system and the GameShark menu will automatically load.

  Select "Cheat Codes" to add codes, then press "Start Game With Selected Codes" to begin playing. To remove your GameShark, turn off the Nintendo system and gently pull both the game and GameShark cartridge out of the system.
