How to Get Jolteon in Sapphire

Jolteon, the Lighting Pokemon, is an electric-type Pokemon that resembles a dog. Since this Pokemon has the "Volt Absorb" ability, it is impossible to damage it with electric-type attacks. With its high speed and special attack stats, this Pokemon is a very popular and effective Special Sweeper. In "Pokemon Sapphire," you can get Jolteon by exposing Eevee to a Thunderstone. If you don't have one, you can exchange a Yellow Shard for a Thunderstone on Route 124.

Teach Hidden Machine 08 -- Dive -- to a water-type Pokemon in "Pokemon Sapphire." This move will allow you to dive underwater. Mudkip, Sharpedo and Wailmer are three common Pokemon that can learn this move in "Pokemon Sapphire."

Go to Route 126, which is west of Route 127. Surf to the western part of this route and dive in a patch of dark water. Look for a small patch of seaweed underwater. Use the Itemfinder to locate the Yellow Shard in the center of a group of seaweed.

    • 4

Travel to Route 124, located in-between Lilycove City and Mossdeep City. Surf toward the pair of small islands on this route. Enter the house on the second island. Speak to the Diving Treasure Hunter inside and exchange a Yellow Shard for a Thunderstone.

Take the Eevee out of your Pokemon Storage System. Go to the "Items" pocket of your bag. Highlight and select "Thunderstone." Choose to use the Thunderstone on the Eevee in your party. The Eevee will evolve into a Jolteon.
