How to Get Charizard in Pokemon Silver Without Trading From Another Game

"Pokemon Silver" is one of the three second-generation Pokemon games released for the Nintendo Game Boy along with "Pokemon Gold" and "Pokemon Crystal." In order to complete your Pokedex in "Pokemon Silver," you must trade to obtain several Pokemon, one of which is Charizard. You can obtain Charizard without trading, provided you have a GameShark modifying device. With the GameShark, you simply input a code and Charizard will automatically be inserted into your party. Before using the code, make sure you have a Pokemon you do not want in the first slot of your party.

     Insert "Pokemon Silver" into the GameShark's cartridge slot. Insert the GameShark into the Game Boy's cartridge slot. Turn the Game Boy system on.

     Enter "0106EDD0" at the GameShark code screen. Press "Start."

     Load your save file and press "A" to begin playing. Charizard will be in the first slot of your party, so make sure that you have a Pokemon you do not mind replacing in the first slot.
