How Do You Beat the Men in Dark Suits on Duel Masters: Sempai Legends

A Game Boy Advance action brawler, "Duel Masters: Sempai Lengends" allows players to duel head-to-head or against the computer using decks that contain creature, spell and mana cards. The first player who deals enough damage to his opponent to eliminate all of his health points wins the duel. In "Sempai Legends" story mode, players must travel from different villages testing their dueling skills against a series of progressively more difficult opponents. In the game's final duel, players must battle two men in dark suits at their home village's arena. Winning this duel requires players to use their best cards and attack strategies.

Instructions

    • 1

Open the in-game "Deck Manager" menu to build your deck before dueling the men in black. Balance your deck so you have a combination of weaker creatures you can get into play quickly and stronger creatures you can put into play once you have built up enough mana. The men in black attack quickly, and you need to get cards on the board early to avoid finding yourself at a disadvantage.

    • 2

Insert several spell cards that allow you to deal direct damage to your opponent and the creatures he has on the board. Spells such as "Burning Power," "Crimson Hammer" and "Death Smoke" will enable you to destroy your opponent's blocking or stronger attacking creatures without exposing your own creatures to damage.

    • 3

Limit the number of different colored mana you need to activate the cards in your deck. A deck that uses blue, white and red cards requires you to draw all three colors of mana in order to play your cards. The quick attacks of the men in black could leave you crippled early while you wait to draw the necessary mana if you mix too many colors together.

    • 4

Use a strategy that doesn't expose you to a large amount of damage on any one turn. The men in black can quickly summon large creatures onto the board and deal a lot of damage if you overexpose yourself by attacking too frequently with all of your creatures. Smaller-scale attacks that use creatures that can exploit your opponent's defensive weaknesses will allow you keep some creatures in reserve for defense.
