How to Get All the Eggman Detectors in Sonic Chronicles: the Dark Brotherhood

In "Sonic Chronicles: the Dark Brotherhood" for Nintendo DS, you have to find five detectors hidden by Sonic the Hedgehog's main nemesis, the wicked Dr. Eggman. The villain has hidden the devices throughout the game's many levels.You can waste a lot of time searching for all of Eggman's detectors. "Sonic Chronicles: the Dark Brotherhood" features 13 levels, and the five detectors are scattered throughout three of the game's most difficult stages: Green Hill Zone, Central City and Mystic Ruins. To get all of Eggman's detectors without spending hours searching, use the following steps.

  Head to Green Hill Zone. Find the doctor who stands near the entrance to a cave. Enter the cave. You should see a small boy and a number of giant scorpions. Kill the scorpions to earn the first Eggman detector.

  Travel to Central City. Head to the shopping district in the south of the city. Enter the shop marked with a star. Speak to the old man you find inside. He asks you to find him a stapler. Go to Green Hill Zone and find the hovering star there. A thin-looking man you see near the star will give you a stapler. Return the stapler to the old man in Central City to receive the second Eggman detector.

  Go to Mystic Ruins. In the northeast corner of the Ruins, you will find a star near a cave. Defeat the armadillo you meet here to earn the third Eggman detector.

  Find Shadow just south of the armadillo. Shadow will challenge you to a fight. You can either defeat or ignore him. Regardless of your choice, speaking with him the first time gets you the fourth Eggman detector.

  Return to Central City. Head northeast. Find the frightened looking robot and speak with him. After you assure him that you are not trying to kill him, he gives you your fifth and final Eggman detector.
