How to Get a Contest Pass in Pokemon Sapphire

"Pokemon Sapphire" is an adventure role-playing game in which players capture and train powerful creatures known as Pokemon. Although the purpose of the game is to prove your mettle as a trainer through Pokemon battles, Pokemon contests also gauge how well you are doing as a trainer. To enter your Pokemon into any of the contests found around the Hoenn region, you must first obtain a contest pass. Pokemon contests are like dog shows where Pokemon are judged on their appearance and obedience, with worthy prizes for the winner.

     Play through the game until you arrive in Verdanturf Town.

     Enter the Contest House in the northwest part of town. This building has a red roof with a PokeBall design on it.

     Talk to the woman behind the counter.

   • 4

     Answer "Yes" to her questions to receive the Contest Pass.
