How to Unlock the Door in Pokemon Silver

Almost all the doors in "Pokemon Silver" do not need a key to unlock, because they aren't locked. But one door in the Goldenrod City underground needs a key card that you can only find in the radio tower. A Team Rocket member blocks the radio tower door and doesn't even challenge you. To get the key card, you'll need to complete other tasks in the game. After this, and at the right moment, you return to challenge Team Rocket and earn the key card that lets you into the underground locked door.

Instructions

- 1
  Beat all gym trainers to win the seven badges. When you beat the last trainer, Pryce in Mahogany Town, Professor Elm calls you on the phone and says that Team Rocket has taken over Goldenrod Tower. Go to the tower.

  Battle your way to the top of the tower, floor five. You encounter a Team Rocket member pretending to be the director. Battle and beat him. He gives you a key card.

  Enter the Underground through the northwest entrance. Head south and turn east at the first hallway. Approach the door at the end and press the "A" button. Use the key card to open the door.
