Things You'll Need
Instructions
Catch Ledyba in your second version of the game. In "Emerald," it is located in the extensions of the Safari Zone. In "Fire Red," it is rare and located in the pattern bush area of the Green Path, while in "Leaf Green," it is common and located in the same place.
Save and turn off your game, connect your link cable and restart the game, if you are using the "Emerald" version to trade. Go to the second floor of any Pokemon center, and simply trade Ledyba with any other Pokemon in your "Sapphire" game. Because "Sapphire" and "Emerald" are from the same series, there is nothing more to do.
Obtain the "National Dex," the "Sapphire" and the "Ruby" in your second Pokemon game if you are trading the Ledyba from either the "Leaf Green" or "Fire Red" versions. This means you may need to complete several quests such as defeating the Elite 4, catching at least 60 Pokemon and following instructions given to you by Celio in the Pokemon Network Center on One Island.
Return to any Pokemon Center in your "Leaf Green" or "Fire Red" version once you have a Ledyba and the required items to trade with "Pokemon: Sapphire Version." Save and turn off the game.
Connect the link cable, turn both games on and head to the upstairs of any Pokemon Center.
Talk to the Cable Club lady, who stands on the right side of the room, and select "Trade Center" when she gives you the option. Talk to the middle lady in the Trade Center Booth to begin the trade. When both devices are ready, continue the trading process as normal. "Ledyba" will be your selection to trade to the "Sapphire" version.
