How to Make GBA Covers

Gameboy Advance, GBA, is a handheld gaming system produced by Nintendo that gained popularity when it was released in 2001. Gameboy Advance users can make their own covers for their Gameboy Advance to help protect the surface of the game system, cover imperfections, such as scratches or marks, or just decorate their Gameboy Advance. A decorated Gameboy Advance turns an ordinary game system that looks like everyone else's into a system that reflects the personality of its owner.

Instructions

    • 1

Wrap duct tape, sticky side facing out, around the GBA, beginning directly under where you insert games.

    • 2

Continue wrapping tape around the GBA, overlapping each previous strip 1/2 inch until you reach the end of the game system.

    • 3

Place a piece of duct tape over the back of the GBA to cover the corners, while keeping the tape sticky side out.

    • 4

Apply strips of duct tape vertically, with the sticky side in, on top of the duct tape already in place to cover the entire system.

    • 5

Apply more strips of duct tape, this time placing them horizontal, with the sticky side facing in, covering the whole game system.

    • 6

Use the razor blade to carefully cut out holes where the games go in and where the buttons and screen are located.
