How to Easily Catch Moltres in Pokemon FireRed

One of the things players don't like the most about Legendary Pokemon, including Moltres, is that they all have low capture rates. In "Pokemon FireRed," the lower the capture rate of a Pokemon, the harder it is to catch. Many players toss dozens of Ultra Balls at Moltres, a Fire/Flying-type, before they finally catch it. Instead of trying to use Ultra Balls to catch Moltres, use a Master Ball. Unlike the Ultra Ball, the Master Ball will catch the Moltres on the first try without fail.

Instructions

  Go to the Silph Co. headquarters in Saffron City. Navigate to the fifth floor of the headquarters by using the warp pads. Pick up the Card Key in the Item Ball. Head back to the third floor and open the door to the left.

  Take the two warp pads and save your game. Defeat your rival and head to the boardroom. Challenge and beat Boss Giovanni's Nidorino, Rhyhorn, Kangaskhan and Nidoqueen. To reward you, the president of Silph Co. will give you the Master Ball.

  Heal your Pokemon on One Island. Surf northeast of One Island to reach Kindle Road. Travel north of the beach on Kindle Road to reach Mount Ember. Descend the stairs and get to the last floor of Mount Ember.

  Stand before Moltres and save your game. Press the "A" button to battle Moltres. Go to your "Bag." Highlight and select "Master Ball" with the D-pad and "A" button. You will catch Moltres with the Master Ball.
