The Pokemon Emerald Shiny Cheat Pro Action Replay Doesn't Work

Shiny Pokemon, first introduced in "Pokemon Gold" and "Pokemon Silver," are Pokemon with alternate colors. That is the only difference between Shiny Pokemon and regular Pokemon. The reason Shiny Pokemon are so valuable is because they are exceedingly rare. Many players go through several playthroughs of "Pokemon Emerald" without encountering a Shiny Pokemon. The rate of encounter for Shiny Pokemon is 1 in 8,192. Thankfully, with an Action Replay device, every Pokemon you encounter can be a Shiny Pokemon.

  Slide the "Pokemon Emerald" cart into the Action Replay's cart slot. Make sure it clicks into place. Slide the Action Replay into the cart slot of the GBA. Again, make sure it clicks into place; otherwise, the cheats may not function properly.

  Turn on the GBA and enter the following cheat at the cheat screen:

  Be absolutely certain that the cheat is entered exactly as it appears here; otherwise, it will not function properly.

  Select your game file and press both of the shoulder buttons simultaneously to activate the cheat. Walk into any area where you may encounter wild Pokemon. They will now be Shiny Pokemon. If not, make sure you pressed both shoulder buttons at the same time.
