How to Catch Trainers in Pokemon R4

"Pokemon R4" is a modified version of "Pokemon" available for the R4 flash drive add-on to the Nintendo DS system. "Pokemon R4" allows you to do a number of things impossible in previous Pokemon titles, such as drive boats, race bicycles, battle Pokemon over level 100 and use infinite healing items. One of the most unique features of "Pokemon R4" is the ability to capture other Pokemon trainers. When you catch a trainer, all his Pokemon become yours, netting you a huge increase to your Pokedex.

Instructions

  Travel to Azalea Town and head to the Pokemon Center.

  Speak with any of the trainers you meet there, and they will challenge you to a Pokemon duel.

  When the duel begins, select a PokeBall, Great Ball or Ultra Ball from the "Items" menu.

  Select the trainer's name from the menu that pops up. The other choice will be his current Pokemon.

  Throw the PokeBall or other capturing item at the trainer. If she dodges the ball, throw another. Repeat the throwing process until you capture the trainer, then check your Pokedex to see how many additional monsters you have earned.
