How to Get the Blue Suit in Zelda: Links Awakening

The blue tunic is a special costume found in the Color Dungeon area of "The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX." The "DX" remake version was made to take advantage of the Game Boy Color's colorful display. A new blue or red tunic is the prize waiting for Link at the end of the tricky Color Dungeon. While Link is wearing the blue tunic, all of the damage he takes is halved, making the game much easier to complete.

Instructions

  Enter the Color Dungeon. You must be playing "The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX" on a Game Boy Color system for the dungeon to appear. The secret entrance is located in the graveyard south of the witch's hut.

  Push the gravestones in a specific order for the Color Dungeon's entrance to appear. Shove the third and fifth headstones up, the first down, the second left and the fourth right to make the Color Dungeon open.

  Explore the dungeon and fight the massive beetle monster in the final chamber. Hit the colored bulb on the beetle's back with your sword as fast as you can. Its color will change from blue to red as it gets closer to death.

  Exit the beetle's chamber through the right-side door and talk to the fairy hovering above the pool of water. She gives you the choice between the blue and red tunics. Select the "Blue" option and press the "A" button to confirm your choice.
