"Pokemon Sapphire" is one of the five third-generation Pokemon games released for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance. Occasionally, while playing "Pokemon Sapphire," you may wish to reset the game so that you can have another chance at capturing a rare Pokemon or so you won't lose money if you lost a battle. There is an easier way to reset the game than turning the power switch off and then back on. This is known as a soft reset.

Press the "Start" button to open up the Options menu.

Select the "Save" option and press "A" to save. Select "Yes" to confirm the save. If you do not save before resetting, all of your progress will be lost.

Press and hold the "R," "L," "A," "B," "Start" and "Select" buttons at the same time. This will reset the Game Boy Advance.
