How to Make LV60 Pokeblocks

In "Pokemon Ruby," "Sapphire" and "Emerald," you can turn berries into Pokeblocks, which you can feed to your Pokemon to increase their beauty contest-related stats. By improving their stats, you increase your Pokemon's chances of winning in different categories of a beauty contest. The only way you can create a level 60 or above Pokeblock --- the rare and powerful Gold Pokeblock --- is to make one with an equally rare Liechi Berry, which you can find only on the elusive Mirage Island.

Instructions

  Fly to Pacifidlog town, the floating town in the middle of the ocean.

  Go to the lower-right corner of the town, and enter the house. Speak to the old man staring out the window. The game generates a random number every day, which it compares against the ID numbers of the Pokemon in your party. He will tell you that he cannot see Mirage Island today if none of the Pokemon in your party match the day's hidden value

  Exit the house, swap Pokemon in and out of your party with the Pokemon in your PC storage and return to speak to the old man with a fresh party. The key number to make Mirage Island appear is good for the whole day, so if any of your Pokemon matches the number of the day, he will tell you that Mirage Island has appeared.

  Exit the house and swap your party around so that you have a Pokemon with Surf.

  Surf east until you land on Mirage Island. It is a small island with a landing beach, some stairs leading up to a plateau, some grass and a small sapling containing one Liechi Berry. Pluck the berry and leave the island.

  Fly to Lilycove Town and enter the Beauty Contest arena. Berry Blending Machines are located inside the lobby. Blend the Liechi Berry to create a Gold Pokeblock.
