How to Raise an Exploud in Pokemon Sapphire

The goal of any Pokemon Trainer is to catch all of the Pokemon in a given game; however, in "Pokemon Sapphire" some Pokemon, such as Exploud, cannot be caught in the wild. The only way to obtain an Exploud in this game is to raise one from its pre-evolved form, Whismur. Raising an Exploud is advantageous for your Pokemon team as it has the ability to learn multiple status effect attacks, which can weaken tough opponents enough for you to finish them off.

Instructions

- 1
  Catch a Whismur. This Pokemon is commonly found in Route 106, Rusturf Tunnel and Victory Road. When you encounter Whismur, weaken it using your preferred Pokemon and special attacks. When Whismur is weakened, use a Pokeball to complete the capture.

  Train Whismur until it reaches Level 20. Use Whismur in Pokemon Battles to gain experience and level it up. At Level 20 you are given the option to evolve Whismur to Loudred.

  Battle using Loudred to continue to gain experience points for this Pokemon and help it level up to Level 40. At level 40 you are given the option to evolve Loudred to Exploud.
