How to Find Groudon in Pokemon Sapphire for the Computer

Groudon is a fire-type Pokemon that first appeared in Generation III of the Pokemon characters. This Pokemon resembles a bipedal dinosaur and features red, angular plates along the back. Groudon is an ultra-rare Pokemon that lives underground and is believed to be the origin of the land in the Pokemon world. Groudon is available only in the "Ruby" version of Pokemon, but can be transferred into "Pokemon Sapphire."

Things You'll Need

Computer with Internet access
Second console with wireless capability
"Pokemon Ruby"
"Pokemon Sapphire"

Instructions

  Turn on the wireless connection ability for your game emulator. This is usually found under Options, then Link Options.

  Journey to a Pokemon Center, then save your game. Turn off your system and connect the two platforms using a wireless connection.

  Restart the games and walk upstairs in the Pokemon Center on both consoles. Enter the middle door.

  Select Groudon in the "Ruby" version, then choose a Pokemon to send in return on the "Sapphire" version. Select OK to confirm the trade.
