How to Use Hidden Power in Pokemon Ruby

In "Pokemon Ruby" you are a Pokemon trainer, grabbing up all of the little pocket monsters and battling with them, teaching them new maneuvers and generally attempting to create the biggest, baddest brood. One of the maneuvers you can teach your Pokemon is called the Hidden Power. Getting the power is easy, though it may not be as effective as other abilities you can teach your Pokemon.

Instructions

  Go to the Slateport Market. In the lowest right hand stall, there is an old woman selling TM 10, Hidden Power for P3,000. Buy the Hidden Power from her.

  Go to your inventory screen and select the Hidden Power. It will ask you to select a Pokemon for learning the technique.
- 3
  Select a Pokemon that has room to learn a new tactic. The Hidden Power will take up a space, and it can then be used in combat. Keep in mind that a Pokemon can only learn so many techniques, so select carefully. Once learned, "Hidden" will show up during combat as a viable option for the Pokemon.
