How to Make the Baby Laugh on Pokemon: Emerald

In "Pokemon: Emerald," a father in Rustboro City is in desperate need of your help. Nothing will make his young daughter, Wanda, smile or laugh. If you can get her to laugh, he promises to reward you. The reward you receive for this task is a new wallpaper that is visible when you use your PC at a Pokemon Center. The girl laughs at random words, so guessing what will work is sometimes difficult.   Open your Internet browser and go to the Filb website. Click "Translate this page" to translate the page from German to English.

  Click on the "Games" tab at the top of the page. Click "Pokemon: Emerald." Click "Pokemon: Emerald Secret Word Generator."

  Start your "Pokemon: Emerald" game. Open your inventory and scroll to "Trainer Card." Copy down the ID number in the top, right corner of the card and type it into the "Trainer ID" box on the website.

  Click the button for your game's language. Enter the background and foreground color you want your wallpaper to be. You must enter this using a code. If you want to see all the available colors and their associated codes, click the "Help" button.

  Use the drop-down menu to select a Background Pattern and the icons for your wallpaper. Click on "Generate Secret Word" to get the words that will make the man's daughter laugh.

  Go to Rustburo City, located north of Petalburg Woods and south of Meteor Falls. Go toward the Pokemon Center and head north. Enter the first house you see.

  Talk to the man inside the house. When he asks you to say something funny, use the onscreen keyboard to enter the word or words you were given from the Filb website. Press "Start" to confirm. When the baby laughs, you receive the new wallpaper.
