How to Get to the Team Rocket Boss in Pokemon Yellow

In the world of the "Pokemon" video game series, "Team Rocket" is an organized crime group which seeks personal gain and world domination through the exploitation and use of Pokemon. The team appears in every generation of the Pokemon series and frequently in the anime, and their boss is a man known as Giovanni. Giovanni makes an appearance in many Pokemon games, including "Pokemon Yellow," in which he is located at the Team Rocket Hideout.

Instructions

- 1
  Beat the first three Gym leaders (Brock, Misty and Lt. Surge) located in Pewter City, Cerulean City and Vermillion City, respectively. This will place you near Celadon City, where Giovanni is located, and will put you at the level needed to deal with Giovanni.

  Travel to Celadon City. It is located between Routes 16 and 7 near Saffron City.

  Defeat the Gym leader at Celadon City (Erika).

  Go to the center of Celadon City and look for the Game Corner building. It contains a bunch of slot machines.

  Move to the back of the room and look for the man in a Team Rocket uniform standing in front of a poster. Talk to this man and battle him. He will have a Level 20 Raticate and Zubat. Once he is defeated, press "A" on the poster behind him and the door to the Team Rocket Hideout will be revealed.

  Enter the Hideout and defeat the two Team Rocket members in the first room, then use the stairs to go to the second floor.

  Pick up the items on the second floor and then take the stairs to the third floor.

  Go to the left and enter the arrow maze. In the maze, use this pattern to get through: right, stop, down, stop, left, down, and then stop.

  Fight the Team Rocket member in front of you. After you beat him, talk to him again and he will drop the key to the fourth floor.

  Return to the second floor. Enter the "Force Pad" maze and use these instructions to get through: first go to the bottom Force Pad, go down and to the first Force Pad, then go right, left, right and down, then to the first Force Pad, down and to the lift. Use the Control Panel and tell it you want to go to the fourth floor.

  Fight Jesse and James, who will have an Ekans, a Meowth and a Koffing. Once you beat them, go in the next room.

  Look around in the next room. The only man in the room is Giovanni, the Team Rocket Boss. He will have a Level 25 Onix, a Level 24 Rhyhorn, and a Level 29 Persian, and if you defeat him he will drop the Silph Scope.
