How to Get Rayquaza in Pokemon Red Rescue Team

Rayquaza is a highly powerful Pokemon and as such may take some time to capture. Catching this high-level Pokemon requires some training before the Pokemon battle and may take multiple attempts before you finally succeed. Catching Rayquaza in "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team" for the Game Boy Advance may be somewhat challenging, but with some basic strategy you can make as many attempts as required to catch the elusive creature to add to your collection of Pokemon.

Instructions

  Train your Pokemon before you enter battle, as Rayquaza is a high-level Pokemon. Get your Pokemon to level 60 or greater.

  Beat Groundon in the Magma Cavern once you have trained enough. Xatu will speak to you afterwards, telling you to find Rayquaza for help. Xatu will direct you to find Rayquaza in the Sky Tower.

  Clear all 25 floors of the Sky Tower.

  Save the game once you have reached the stone at the end of Sky Tower.

  Go to the ninth floor.
- 6
  Use your Pokemon to do damage but not completely defeat Rayquaza. You want to weaken Rayquaza to make it easier to catch.
- 7
  Throw a Poke Ball to catch Rayquaza.
