How to Get to Mossdeep City in Sapphire

Mossdeep City is a large city introduced in the "Sapphire," "Ruby" and "Emerald" versions of the "Pokemon" games. It is situated on an island and is populated mainly by divers. Mossdeep's main attractions include the Space Center, Game Corner (in "Emerald" only) and Pokemon Gym led by the twins Tate and Liza. Mossdeep is also home to the president of the Devon Corporation, Steven Stone, who will give the player HM08 after the player defeats Team Aqua or Team Magma in the Space Center. People in the residential houses also give the player helpful tips and reminders, such as the location of the player's secret base and what types of Pokeblocks certain Pokemon prefer.

     Surf northeast from Lilycove City and enter the Team Aqua Secret Base. Defeat the grunt and go through the door. Take the left warp tile and step on the subsequent warp tiles to reach a submarine.

     Enter the submarine and defeat the administrator to clear the Wailmer blockade. Exit the base and heal your Pokemon if necessary.

     Surf east from Lilycove City. Defeat any trainers or wild Pokemon you encounter, and continue east to reach Mossdeep City.
