How to Delete Files in Final Fantasy Tactics Advance

Saving your game is an important part of protecting your progress in any game, but in "Final Fantasy Tactics" it can cause a small problem: the files you save are permanent. While it may appear that you cannot create or save a new game since your save files are full, a workaround allows you to start from scratch and overwrite previous saves. You can clear all of your saves in this manner if you plan to sell or share the game.

Instructions

  Insert "Final Fantasy Tactics" and turn on your Game Boy Advance.

  Select "New Game" from the main menu and choose a difficulty level.

  Choose a name for your character and hit "A" to save.

  Watch the opening cut scene. There is no way to skip the opening, but you can advance through it by rapidly tapping "A."

  Press the "Start" button to load the main game menu.

  Select "Save." Highlight one of your previous save files, press "A" and select "Overwrite and Save."

  Open the main menu again and select "Save." Replace another previously saved file with the fresh game you just started. Repeat this process until you clear every save.
