"Pokemon FireRed" is an adventure game with elements of pet collection and role-playing. Over the course of the game, the player will visit small towns and major cities, interacting with hundreds of non-player character personalities. One of the more frustrating is the guard outside of Saffron City, who won't let anybody through the gates until you get him a drink. He's particular about what he wants, too, and will only accept tea. The player can get some tea from an elderly woman in the Celadon Condominiums. She doesn't even charge.

Travel to Celadon City, which is east on Route 16 and west on Route 7.

Enter the Celadon Condominiums on the north side of town.

Speak with the elderly woman on the first floor. She'll give you some tea.

Travel east on Route 7 to get to Saffron City. Speak with the guard at the gate and he'll take your tea, letting you into town.
