How to Find HM Fly on Emerald Version

"Pokemon Emerald" is a role-playing adventure game available for play on the Nintendo Gameboy Advance. HM02 Fly is an ability that can be taught to your Pokemon. HM02 Fly will allow you to travel instantly to any city you have previously visited. The HM02 Fly ability is learned once you have defeated Rival on Route 119.

Instructions

      Travel to Route 119. Route 119 is located southwest of Fortree City. If you are having trouble finding Route 119, consult the "Pokemon Emerald" world map. While traveling on Route 119 you will encounter Rival directly in front of the bridge leading to Fortree City.

      Speak to Rival and accept his challenge. Defeat Rival by summoning the Trecko, Torchic and Mudkip Pokemon.

      Speak to Rival after you have defeated him and receive HM02 Fly.
