How to Connect to Events at Sapphire

Nintendo Events are crucial to "Pokemon Sapphire" players who want to complete the Pokedex. Players can't capture Legendary Pokemon like Mew and Celebi in the wild. You must attend a Nintendo Event in real life or trade with someone who has to obtain these rare Pokemon. At an official promotion, players connect "Pokemon Sapphire" with special machines. The machine sends a rare item to "Pokemon Sapphire." Players use these rare items to access new areas where they can find Legendary Pokemon.

Instructions

  Check the official Pokemon website every month. Nintendo announces all upcoming Pokemon events on this website. Look for the times, dates and locations for the next Nintendo Event for "Pokemon Sapphire."

  Start your "Pokemon Sapphire" game. Before you can connect to a Nintendo Event, you must set up a Mystery Event. You must have at least five badges. Go to the Pokemon Center in Petalburg City.

  Speak to the non-player character standing near the PC in the Pokemon Center. During the interview, enter the following phrase: "Mystery Event Is Exciting." The NPC will activate Mystery Event. On the Main Menu, you will see the "Mystery Event" option.

  Attend the official promotion. Someone will give you a link cable and instructions on how to use it to connect with a machine. Follow the instructions and the machine will upload an item to your game.

  Speak to your Dad in the Petalburg Gym. He will give you a letter, which will contain the item from the Nintendo Event. For example, if you went to the USA 2003 Nintendo Event, the letter would contain an Eon Ticket.
