How to Get Chikorita, Totodile and Cyndaquil in the Pokemon FireRed Version

The three Pokemon that were first introduced as starting monsters in "Pokemon Gold" and "Pokemon Silver" can be imported to "Pokemon FireRed," but getting all three takes quite a bit of effort. Totodile, Chikorita and Cyndaquil must be earned as prizes in "Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness" for the Nintendo GameCube, and then must be imported to "Pokemon FireRed." Players must first win 100 consecutive Pokemon battles through the Mt. Battle Challenge to choose one of the three creatures to take with them. There is no other way to get these Pokemon in this generation, making these creatures extremely valuable.

Instructions

  Enter the Mt. Battle Challenge in "Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness" with your six most powerful Pokemon. Mt. Battle becomes an available place to travel to after you defeat Myth Trainer Eagun in the Relic Cave. Select Mt. Battle from the places on your map, and walk up the steps to confront each Pokemon Trainer along the way. Your opponent's Pokemon range in level from 9 to 70 as you progress up the mountain.

  Defeat 100 Pokemon trainers in a row without leaving the Mt. Battle area. You will be rewarded with your choice of a Chikorita, Totodile or Cyndaquil.

  Connect the Nintendo Gamecube--Game Boy Advance cable to the Gamecube's second controller port. Plug the Game Boy Advance that is holding "Pokemon FireRed" into the other end of the cable. Save your "Pokemon FireRed" game in a Poke Center.

  Go to a Poke Center in "Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness" and walk downstairs to the PC transfer room. Talk to the nurse, and she will instruct you to turn on the Game Boy Advance. After she saves the game, choose your prize Pokemon and a Pokemon from "Pokemon FireRed" to trade. The prize creature will be transferred to "Pokemon FireRed."
