How to Catch Suicune in Pokemon Crystal

Get the Clear Bell

• 1

  Defeat the seventh Johto Gym Leader in Mahogany town and fly back to Goldenrod City.

  Go to the Goldenrod City Radio Tower. Find the hiding girl on the second floor to receive the Blue Card.

  Defeat Team Rocket members until you reach the top floor.

• 4

  Defeat the fake manager on the top floor, and he will give you the Basement Key.

  Recharge your Pokemon at the Pokemon Healing Center, then go to the building that leads underground.

  Use the Basement Key on the blue door in the underground tunnel.

  Defeat Rival No. 4, go down the stairs, and defeat the other Rockets. Flip the right switch, the middle switch and the left switch on the wall.

  Defeat the female Rocket member then go through the large blue doors.

  Beat the Rocket members and talk to the real manager. Take the Shutter Key from him.

  Pick up the TM, an item that will teach one Pokemon a new move. Take the elevator to the Radio Tower's third floor.

  Use the Shutter Key to go up the "secret" stairs. Defeat all Team Rocket members there, then go back to the fifth floor and beat two more Team Rocket members. Following these victories, the real manager will give you the Clear Bell.

Reaching Suicune

  Take Route 44 and the Ice Path to Blackthorn City. Defeat the Blackthorn Johto gym leader.

  Fly back to New Bark Town.

• 14

  Go to Professor Elm's lab. He will give you the Master Ball.

• 15

  Defeat the Elite Four and the Kanto League Leader.

• 16

  Return to Ecruteak and go to the Burned Tower.

• 17

  Save the game, then challenge Suicune.

• 18

  Capture Suicune with the Master Ball.
