How to Send Event Cards From One Pokemon Game to Another

In the "Pokemon" universe, players can earn event cards, or wonder cards, which are bundled along with mystery gifts. Mystery gifts and wonder cards can be earned through your game's Wi-Fi connection, through exchange with a friend or at an official Nintendo event. The wonder card contains instructions about the mystery gift, including how to access a secret area, gain a key item or acquire a rare Pokemon. You can also send some wonder cards to friends.

Instructions

  Travel to the Jubilife City TV Station, located south of Route 204 in the Sinnoh region, while playing "Diamond," "Platinum," "Pearl." During your interview there, answer with "EVERYONE HAPPY" and "Wi-Fi CONNECTION" to unlock the Mystery Gift feature. You will earn the Mystery Gift feature automatically when you earn the Pokedex in "HeartGold" and "SoulSilver." Unlock Mystery Gift in Hiun City in "Black" and "White."

  Access the main menu in your game. Select "Mystery Gift." Pick "Wonder Cards." Select an individual wonder card from the menu to view its description. If there is no "Send" option, that particular card cannot be sent. Open each card to search for the "Send" option.

  Instruct your friend to sit in close proximity to you with a compatible "Pokemon" game inserted into his Nintendo DS system. He should turn on his system. Select "Send" on your Nintendo DS. Under the "Mystery Gift" option, your friend must select "Receive From Friend" to receive an exchanged wonder card.
