How to Play Yu-Gi-Oh! GX

"Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Duel Academy" for the Game Boy Advance lets players choose from and customize several characters in the Duel Academy school. This 2006 game based on the animated series requires players to collect cards and win duels with their sets. Tutorials and quizzes help players master the gameplay. Instructions

  Remove a card on the deck screen with the "L" button. Add a card with the "R" button. Press "Start" to view a card.

  Access the phase menu during duels with the "B" button. Switch the camera with the "R" button. Hold the "R" button to view a card. Pause the game with "Start" during duels and view the total play time by holding "Select."

  Press "Up" or "Down" on the control pad when in the shop to choose a pack. Press "Left" on the control pad to add a pack to your basket. Press "Right" to remove a pack. Empty the basket with the "L" button and fill the basket with the "R" button. Press "Start" to view a pack description and hit "Select" to access the help screen.

  Press "A" to speed up the pack opening process, or hit the "B" button to move to the card confirmation screen. Open the next pack with the "R" button.

  View the next month on the calendar on the calendar menu with the "R" button. View the previous month by pressing "L."

  Choose a number on the password machine by moving the control pad "Up" or "Down." Move the cursor to switch to a different number by pressing "Left" or "Right."
