How to Make Suicune Come to You in LeafGreen

In "Pokemon: LeafGreen," the legendary dog Pokemon Suicune will wander throughout the Kanto region after the player defeats the Elite Four. If you did not select Charmander as your starter Pokemon in your game, you will not encounter Suicune. Players should use grass or fire-type Pokemon in battle against Suicune, as it is weak against those types of opponents. Suicune appears at level 50, so create a Pokemon party consisting of levels equal to or higher than 50. Bring healing items to tend to injured Pokemon.

Instructions

  Roam in the tall grasses of the Kanto mainland region and the Sevii Islands, which are also part of the Kanto region. Suicune randomly wanders in these two regions. When the player changes locations, such as going into or leaving buildings or traveling to a new area, Suicune randomly changes locations. You will enter random encounters with wild Pokemon while wandering through tall grass. If you do not encounter Suicune after several battles, move to a new area.

  Use a Pokemon that knows the ability "Sweet Scent" or "Hustle" to attract Suicune to you outside of battle. "Sweet Scent" attracts wild Pokemon, including Suicune. "Hustle" attracts higher level Pokemon, such as Suicune.

  Continue roaming in the same area if you encounter Suicune once. When entered into battle, Suicune will usually flee during the first round of attack. If you leave the area after Suicune flees, it will go to another random location. If you do change locations after it flees, track its location and movements using your Pokedex.

  Use moves such as "Bind," "Mean Look," "Sleep Powder" or "Freeze" to render Suicune immobile in battle. Use grass or electric-type attacks to weaken Suicune. If you use "Bind" or "Mean Look," Suicune will be unable to escape unless it knocks out your Pokemon or you switch Pokemon.

  Use a Pokeball to capture Suicune when it is weakened from attack. Higher quality Pokeballs, such as the Luxury Ball or Ultra Ball, increase your chances of successfully capturing Suicune.
