How to Activate Eon Ticket on Pokemon Sapphire for VBA

The Eon Ticket is a real-life item for the virtual game "Pokemon: Sapphire." It was given to gamers at an exclusive Pokemon event in 2003 in Las Vegas. As of June 2011, tickets circulated on auction sites such as Ebay. Players can activate special content in their "Pokemon: Sapphire" game by attaching the Eon Ticket Reader to their Game Boy Advance and sliding the Eon Ticket through it. It unlocks the Southern Islands, where players can find and capture the Pokemon Latios.

Instructions

  Collect at least five gym badges. You get a gym badge in each city when you beat its gym leader.

  Travel to Petalburg City, which is east on Route 104 and west on Route 102. Enter the Pokemon Center in the middle of town.

  Speak with the man behind the counter. Answer "Yes." Select the phrase "Mystery Event Is Exciting."

  Save and turn off the Game Boy. Connect the Eon Ticket Reader to the Game Boy.

  Turn on the Ticket Reader and then the Game Boy. Wait for both to load.

  Slide the Eon Ticket through the Ticket Reader. On your Game Boy, select "Mystery Events." The game will tell you to go to Petalburg City.

  Visit the gym in Petalburg City and speak with your father. He will give you an in-game version of the Eon Ticket.

  Go to Lilycove City, which is east on Route 121 and west on Route 124.

  Speak with the sailor on the eastern side of town. He'll see your Eon Ticket and take you to the Southern Islands.
