The Easiest Way to Get a Fast Ball in Pokemon Gold

Poke Balls are key items in the Nintendo Game Boy game "Pokemon Gold Version," as they are used to catch wild Pokemon. A Fast Ball is a Pokeball with an increased chance of catching Pokemon that have high Speed statistics. You can manufacture different kinds of Pokeballs by collecting apricorns, nuts which are dotted around trees in the Johto region, and taking them to the character Kurt in Azalea Town.

Instructions

- 1
  Go to Azalea Town in the south of the Johto region, and you will be approached by Kurt. He will tell you that Team Rocket has taken over the town's Slowpoke Well.

  Defeat the Team Rocket trainers at the Slowpoke Well. They use Golbat and Zubat Pokemon, which are weak against Ice, Rock, Psychic and Electric-type Pokemon.

  Go back to Azalea Town and talk to Kurt again. He will take you back to his house and give you a Lure Ball.

  Leave Kurt's house and go to the apricorn tree right next to it. Pick the white apricorn from the tree.

  Go back into Kurt's house and give him the white apricorn.

  Leave Kurt's house for 24 hours.
- 7
  Go back to Kurt's house and he will give you a Fast Ball.
